David Willson, a custom home builder and an environmentalist with a passion for finding ways you can use less energy in your home, is a Home Performance Analyst and owner of Advanced Home Performance. He’s been in residential home building and remodeling for 40 years, working in all areas of home construction and with all major home systems. In recent years, with energy use rising along with its cost, he has come to understand that helping home owners reduce their costs of ownership is a better and more satisfying use of his talents. Improving home performance saves a homeowner money on their utility bills, reduces environmental pollution, helps to reduce greenhouse gases, and shrinks a home’s carbon footprint, while improving comfort and indoor air quality.
